Lawrence H. Emmons

Lawrence H. Emmons, age 77 years, of Sergeantsville, NJ, died on July 24, 1996 at Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg, NJ. Born in Raven Rock, NJ on June 4, 1919, he was the son of the late George Emmons and Rosa Mae Shaw Emmons. Mr. Emmons was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army from 1941-1945. He then worked as the postmaster in Sergeantsville, retiring in 1981. Lawrence is survived by his wife, Eva Lambert Emmons, their children, grandchildren, and many other relatives. Interment in Rosemont Cemetery, Route 519, Rosemont, NJ.
