Born in Hunterdon County, NJ on December 20, 1878, she was the daughter of the late Levi M. Cole and Aletta Dalley.

She was predeceased by her husband, Bergen D.N. Carter, Sr., who died in 1953.

Interment in Newell Cemetery, Stanton, NJ.
