Born in East Amwell Township, NJ on September 27, 1920, he was the son of the late Van Dyke Blackwell Manners and Alice Kane.

Mr. Manners resided in Hunterdon County all of his life and was a long-time farmer.

Interment in Union Cemetery of Wertsville (Stout-Manners Cemetery or Young's Cemetery), East Amwell Township, NJ.
