Kathryn J. Melick, age 95 years, of Milford, NJ, died on May 15, 2001 at Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg, NJ. Born in Newark, NJ on December 24, 1905, she was the daughter of the late Anton L. Joerges and Ella L. (Houlett) Joerges. She was a teacher at both the Chancellor Ave. School in Irvington, NJ and the Alexandria Township Elementary School, Alexandria Township, NJ, retiring in 1970. Kathryn was predeceased by her husband, J. Russell Melick, who died in 1983. Interment in Evergeen Cemetery, Clinton, NJ.
