June A. Van Why, age 79 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Friday, January 14, 2005 at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in West New York, NJ, June 26, 1925 to the late Albert and Martha Westerdahl Clark, she had resided in Raritan Township for the past five years, having previously resided in Melbourne, FL and Whitehouse Station, NJ.
Mrs. Van Why was formerly a manager at Pfenningers Hilltop, Flemington, NJ. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxillary Post #284, Whitehouse Station, NJ and was a two time Preident of the Ladies Auxillary of the Whitehouse Station Fire Company.
Her husband, George J. Van Why, Sr., died in 1995 and a son, Albert W., died in 2000. Surviving are two daughters, Elizabeth Maj of Middlesex, NJ and June Manners of East Amwell Township, NJ; a son, George J. Van Why, Jr. of Raritan Township, NJ; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Wertsville, NJ.
