Joseph F. Adda, Sr.

Services were held Monday for Joseph F Adda Sr of Everitt's Road in Ringoes who died Thurdsday March 20, 1980 at his home. He was 82. Born in New York City, he had resided in the Ringoes area since 1948. He was a retired self-employed commercial artist, with offices in New York City. He was an Army veteran of World War I and a member of Tappan American Legion Post of Staten Island, NY. His wife Violet Helwig Adda died in 1951. Surviving are a son, Joseph Jr of Ringoes; a brother James of Port Richey, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Fortunata Rame of Belleville and Mrs. Margaret Worthington of Tryon, N.C.; two grandchildren and a great-grandchild. The services were held in the Holcombe Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington. Interment was in Ocean View Cemetery, Staten Island.
