Joseph Eris Steckel

Joseph Eris Steckel, age 80 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on August 3, 1998 at the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ. Born in Flora, IN on October 5, 1917, he was the son of the late Eris Joseph Steckel and Merlin Eva Draper Steckel. Mr. Steckel was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a retired Professor at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. Joseph is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Steckel. The burial was private.
