Johnny R. Wheeler, Sr.

Johnny R. Wheeler, Sr., age 59 years, of Readington Township, NJ, died February 23, 2016, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ.

Born in South Charleston, WV, May 31, 1956, he was the son of the late Myria Wheeler.

Johnny worked for Readington Township, NJ and Readington Middle School as a custodian for twenty-seven years.

He was pre-deceased by his wife Tina M. Wheeler in 2014.

Surviving are one daughter, Stephanie Wheeler of Whitehouse Station, NJ; two sons, Johnny Wheeler, Jr. and Dylan Wheeler both of Whitehouse Station, NJ; two sisters, Tonya Meizanis of Flemington, NJ and Babette Wheeler of Canada; two brothers, Nicky Rotella of Tennessee and Richard Rotella of Phillipsburg, NJ and three grandchildren, Shayne, Tyson, and Faith Wheeler all of Whitehouse Station, NJ.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 26, 2016 at 11 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held Friday from 9 AM until time of service.
