Born in Port Reading, NJ on April 8, 1907, he was the son of the late Lautze Schmidt and Sina Wittenberg. Mr. Schmidt worked for Burkett Supply Company Appliance Store in Flemington, NJ. Interment in First Presbyterian Church Cemetery of Woodbridge, Woodbridge, NJ.
