John W. Field, Sr.

John W. Field, Sr., age 94 years, of Bernardsville, NJ, died on August 26, 1989 at Somerset Hospital, Somerville, NJ.

Born in Somerville, NJ on December 28, 1894, he was the son of the late John Field and Ida Holmes.

Mr. Field was a veteran of World War I, serving in the United States Army.

He then became the owner and operator of Field Lumber and Coal Company in Whitehouse Station, NJ.

John was predeceased by his wife, Agnes (Boyd) Field, who died in 1983.

Interment in Prospect Hill Cemetery, 69 Capner Street, Flemington, NJ.
