John W. Cummings

John W. Cummings, age 70 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on May 9, 1964 at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in New York City on June 18, 1893, he was the son of the late John J. Cummings and Kate Schneider.

Mr. Cummings was a veteran of World War I, serving in the Lost Battalion of the 77th Division on the Western Front. He was wounded in action and received the Purple Heart.

He was a retired theatrical employee.

John was survived by his wife, June W. (DeVoy) Cummings, of Flemington, NJ.

Interment in Prospect Hill Cemetery, 69 Capner Street, Flemington, NJ.
