John W. Chase, age 92 years, of Dover, NJ, died on June 17, 2001 at St Clare's Health System, 25 Pocono Rd, Denville, NJ 07834. Born in Newark, NJ on September 25, 1908, he was the son of the late John Chase and Caroline Pickel. Mr. Chase was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army from 1942-1945. He then became a custodian. His cremated remains were buried in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ.
