Born in Plains, PA on September 25, 1941, he was the son of John D. Gower and Anna Sanko.

Mr. Gower was a Railroad Engineer for the Conrail Company.

John was survived by his wife, Margaret A. (Kulba) Gower.

Interment in Riverview Cemetery, 70 Tappan Sreet, Baldwinsville, NY.
