Joan Watkin Hunt

KINGWOOD TWP. - Joan Watkin Hunt died Friday, July 12, 2002 in Hunterdon Medical Center. She was 72. She was born in Trenton, the daughter of James and Mildred Sumner Watkin. She lived in Kansas and Virginia before moving to Kingwood Township in 1959. She was a graduate of Trenton Central High School and of the Ann May School of Nursing in Neptune. She was a pediatric nurse at Hunterdon Medical Center and later was a volunteer there for many years. She was a member of the Kingwood United Methodist Church in Kingwood Township. A son, Derrick Hunt, died in 1956 and a brother, Richard Watkin, died in 1944. She is survived by her husband, Jarrett Hunt, and a sister, Ruth Greschak of West Windsor. Memorial services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Kingwood United Church in Kingwood Township. Burial will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home in Flemington.
