Born December 16, 1879 in Centerville, NJ, she was the daughter of Charles Reading and Sarah Catherine (Case) Hoff. Her husband, Abraham Emerson Van Doren, died in 1956.
Funeral services were held in Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery, Westfield, NJ.
