Jesse Y. Shurts, age 92 years, of Stroudsburg, PA, died on April 22, 1988 at the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, PA.

Born in Lebanon, NJ on December 13, 1895, she was the daughter of the late Ira Yawger and Alida Apgar.

She was a homemaker.

Jesse was predeceased by her husband, James A. Shurts, who died in 1963.
