Born July 11, 1925 in Baptistown, NJ, she was the daughter of Abram and Agnes (Vail) Quick. She was an inspector for Ethicon Corp., Bridgewater, NJ.
Her husband, George Oakes, died in 1969.
Funeral services were held at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington. Burial was in Musconetcong Valley Cemetery, Hampton.
