Jeanetta Price Gaskill, age 84 years, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday morning, October 1, 2025, surrounded by her beloved family. Born on August 17, 1941, in Somerville, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Daisy (Clemens) Price. Jeanetta grew up in Centerville, NJ before establishing her roots in Flemington in 1964, where she would make countless memories over the decades.
A proud graduate of Hunterdon Central Regional High School, Class of 1959, Jeanetta dedicated a significant portion of her life to her career as a court transcriber for the county courts, a role that showcased her keen attention to detail and commitment to her work.
Known for her vibrant personality, Jeanetta was an animal lover at heart, particularly fond of cats and dogs. She carried this affection into every aspect of her life, cherishing the companionship of her furry friends. An enthusiast of life's simple pleasures, she found joy in the beach, where she would often enjoy a glass of white wine. Jeanetta also had a spirited side; she enjoyed knitting and bowling and held great enthusiasm for sprint car racing, passionately rooting for her favorite driver, Steve Kinzer.
Alongside her numerous hobbies, Jeanetta's most treasured moments were those spent traveling with her husband, Fredrick Gaskill. They particularly relished their winters in Madeira Beach, Florida, creating lasting memories together in the warmth of the sun.
Jeanetta is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Fredrick Gaskill, of Flemington, NJ, whom she married on February 14, 1964. She is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Stacey and Chris Miller, who also reside in Flemington, NJ.
In addition to her parents, Jeanetta was predeceased by her brother, David MacDonald. Her spirit will be lovingly remembered, as her life was a testament to the love and warmth she shared with everyone around her.
