Born September 3, 1924 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of Frederick and Bessie (Black) Lane. She was a dressmaker.

Jean was survived by her husband, Bruce C. Bailey.

Funeral services were held at Wilson Funeral Home, DuBois, PA. Burial was in Rockton Cemetery, Rockton, PA.
