Janet A. DeMartin

Janet A. DeMartin, a beloved mother, sister, and accomplished professional, passed away on April 8, 2026, in Franklin Township, New Jersey. Born on May 27, 1944, in Somerville, New Jersey, Janet was formerly a resident of Raritan Borough, NJ, where she made a lasting impression on those who knew her.

Janet dedicated much of her career to serving as a lab technician for Ethicon in Somerville, NJ, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and unwavering commitment to her work. In addition, she contributed her warmth and organizational skills as a receptionist, bringing a welcoming presence to her workplace.

Beyond her professional life, Janet had a rich and vibrant personality. She loved animals and flowers, finding joy and peace in their presence. A creative spirit at heart, she delighted in traveling and held a special fondness for 80's rock music, which added a lively soundtrack to her everyday life.

Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Mario DeMartin, and her parents, William Reynolds and Emilia Petryczanko. She is survived by her devoted daughters, Lisa Lozowski and her husband, Andrew of Valrico, FL and Lori Ruffi of Flemington, NJ, who carry forward her legacy of love and resilience. Also surviving her is her brother, Alan Reynolds of Tampa, FL, who shared many cherished moments throughout their lives.

Janet A. DeMartin’s life was one marked by dedication, creativity, and love. She will be remembered fondly by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Funeral services will be held privately under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Entombment will be held in St. Bernard Mausoleum, Bridgewater, NJ.
