James W. Johnson

James W. Johnson, age 83 years, of Holland Township, NJ, died February 15, 1981 in the Glen Gardner Center for Geriatrics.

Born July 14, 1897 in Hunterdon County, he had lived in Milford for 19 years. Previously, he had lived in Pittstown.

Mr. Johnson was a self-employed painter and decorator before his retirement. He was a member of the First Brethren Church of Sergeantsville.

He was survived by his wife, Emma Reed Johnson; a daughter, Mrs. Leona Zdepski of Milford; a granddaughter and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held in the First Brethren Church of Sergeantsville, under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington. Interment was in Rosemont Cemetery, Rosemont.
