James Arthur Harris

James Arthur Harris, age 59 years, of Phillipsburg, NJ, died on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 in St. Luke’s-Warren Hospital.

Born in Plainfield, NJ, April 3, 1958, he was the son of the late George and Lois Jean Rounsaville Harris.

Jim was a member of the Flemington United Methodist Church, and former member of the Raritan Township Fire Company.

Surviving are his children: Kevin G. Harris, and his wife, Jennifer, of Lopatcong Township, NJ and Amanda Marie Harris of Whitehouse Station, NJ; his siblings, Richard Harris of Lewes, DE, Bob Harris of Flemington, NJ, Debra Van Why of Millsboro, DE, and Lori J. Harris of Easton, PA; and his grandson, Christian James Harris.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 3 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-3 PM in the funeral home.
