Jack Pahuta, 71, of Flemington, died Sunday, November 1, 1992 in Hunterdon Medical Center, Flemington.
Born in the Ukraine, he came to the United States in 1949 and has resided in the Flemington area for 42 years.
Mr. Pahuta was formerly employed in the Research Department of Johns-Manville Corp., Manville, retiring in 1983.
He was a member of the Johns-Manville Quarter Century Club and Flemington Elks Lodge No. 1928.
Son of the late Theodore and Julia Mytchkin Pahuta, he is survived by his wife, Margaret Freilinger Pahuta; a son, Michael Pahuta of Readington; a daughter, Christina Higgins of Yardley, Pa.; a brother, Zenon Pahuta of Finderne; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services were under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home. Interment was in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington.
