J. Hervey McPherson, age 70 years, of Franklin Township, NJ, died December 21, 1983 at Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township.
Born November 27, 1913 in Sunnyside, Hunterdon County, he was the son of Sheridan and Harriet (McCloughan) McPherson. Mr. McPherson was a signalman for the Lehigh Valley Railroad.
He was survived by his wife, Dorothy (Arnesen) McPherson.
Funeral services were held at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington. Burial was in Newell Cemetery, Stanton.
