Irvin C. Freund

Irvin C. Freund, age 84 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on April 19, 1998 at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ. Born in Newark, NJ on April 16, 1914, he was the son of the late Charles Freund and Charlotte Hewitt Freund. Mr. Freund was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army in the Pacific Theater from 1944-1946. He then became a Rural Mail Carrier in Flemington, NJ. In addition, Mr. Freund was a Minor League Pitcher with the New York Yankees Organization. Irvin is survived by his wife, Jean Fenwick Freund, their children, and grandchildren. Interment in Clover Hill Reformed Church Cemetery, Amwell Road, Hillsborough, NJ.
