Ignatz W. Chwat

Ignatz W. Chwat, age 90 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, died May 10, 1984 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Orange.

Born in Russia, Mr. Chwat came to the United States in 1913 and had resided in Hunterdon County since 1921.

An Army veteran of World War I, he was a retired farmer.

Surviving are his wife, Tillie G. Chwat; a son, Vincent Chwat at home; three daughters, Anna Kolvites of Fanwood, Anastasia Chwat at home, and Sonia Millner of Triangle, VA; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Private funeral services were held at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington. Interment was in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington.
