Hillena Fenwick

Lena Fenwick, age 93 years, of Union Township, Snyder County, PA, completed her journey in this life on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 in The Manor at Penn Village, Selinsgrove, PA.

Born in the Wertsville area of East Amwell Township, NJ, November 16, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Jonathan and Hillena Drake Voorhees. On October 10, 1941, she married John D. Fenwick who survives her.

Hillena was a 1936 graduate of Flemington High School, Flemington, NJ. She attended Witmer's United Methodist Church, Port Trevorton, PA.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Lisa Fenwick III of Fort Ann, NY, and James and Wendy Fenwick of Wrightsville, PA; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia and Richard Opdyke of Benton, PA, and Ruth and Dennis Hubert of Florida; a sister, Carolyn Polhemus of Clover Hill, NJ; ten grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 PM in the Clover Hill Reformed Church, Clover Hill, NJ. Interment will be in Clover Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 7-9 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
