Born in New York City on February 28, 1902, he was the son of the late Elias and Anna Attinger.
Mr. Attinson was a veteran of World War II.
He then worked many years as a plumber before retiring.
Herman was survived by his wife, Nellie.
Interment in Moravian Cemetery, 2205 Richmond Rd, Staten Island, NY.
