Deceased Name: Herbert Plennert -- carpenter, mason
Herbert Plennert, 83, of Gracedale, the Northampton County nursing home in Upper Nazareth Township, formerly of Raritan Township, died Saturday, April 20, in Gracedale.
He was a carpenter and stone mason before retiring.
Born Oct. 11, 1918, in Germany, he was a son of the late Martin and Anna Bauman Plennert. He resided in Raritan Township for many years, moving to Gracedale in 1991.
His wife, the former Helen Lebitz, died in 1989.
He is survived by two daughters, Helen Oakes of Easton and Mary Miller of Bloomsburg, Pa.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be private. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Flemington.
