Born in Hunterdon County, NJ on August 6, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Howard Young and Laura Rowe.

She was formerly employed as a nurse's aide at the Little Brook Nursing Home in Califon, NJ.

Helen was survived by her husband, Lawrence F. Solenger.

Inurnment in Prospect Hill Cemetery, 69 Capner Street, Flemington, NJ.
