Helen Geller

Helen Geller, age 91 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, died on Saturday, November 24, 2007, in Independence Manor, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Newark, NJ, October 14, 1916, she was the

daughter of the late Meyer and Mildred Nachtigall Silverman. She had formerly resided in Springfield, NJ.

She was a former executive secretary and art teacher at the collegiate level.

She is survived by a son, Dennis Belgard, of Delaware Township, NJ, and a sister, Janice Bloch, of Delray Beach, FL. Her husband, Harold Geller, died in 1986.

Funeral arrangements and interment will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours.
