Harold G. Dalley, 93, passed away peacefully, August 24, 2023, at the Birchwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Nanticoke, PA.
Born in Reaville, NJ, April 4, 1930, he was number four of six boys born to the late Bertha (Brokaw) Dalley and Bergen Dalley.
A 1948 Flemington High School graduate, he played basketball for the Rough Riders while in school.
Harold joined the US Air Force on December 29, 1950, serving four years as a Staff Sergeant. After his service, he was employed by AT&T for 35 years, transferring to Orlando, FL, eventually retiring there.
He was a member of the Hopewell Presbyterian and Flemington Presbyterian Churches.
Harold celebrated 66 years of marriage with his wife, Dolly (Arch) Dalley on July 14, 2022, before her passing on January 17 of this year.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers: Bergen, Arthur, Sherwin, George and Milton.
He is survived by his daughter, Blissinda Waichulis of Nanticoke, PA; granddaughter, Samantha Waichulis of Nanticoke, PA; sister-in-law, Betty (Arthur) Dalley; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will take place on Thursday, September 7, 2023, from 10:00-11:00 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Funeral services, officiated by Rev. Amy E.S. Lincoln, will follow at 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Interment with military honors will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ 08822. Services will be livestreamed.
