Born in New Rochelle, NY on February 25, 1894, he was the son of the late Emile Haagensen and Charlotte Burchell.

Mr. Haagensen was a United States Navy veteran of World War I.

He was formerly employed as an architect by Chapman, Evans & Delehanty in New York City.

Harold was survived by his wife, Hazel (Whiteley) Haagensen.
