Born in Czechoslovakia on June 9, 1913, he was the son of the late Thomas Petersen and Katharina (Flathmann) Petersen. He was a Mason, Union Local #4, Teaneck, NJ. He is survived by his wife, Katharina (Baljer) Petersen. The burial was private.
