Born July 11, 1898 in Newark, NJ, he was the son of Gustav and Emma (Armbruster) Kruttschnitt, Sr. He was a self-employed auto dealer.
Gustav was predeceased by his wife, Charlotte (Redden) Kruttschnitt, in 1977.
Funeral services were held in Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington. Interment was in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Ringoes.
