Gioacchina D'Avenia, age 89 years, of Frenchtown, NJ, died on November 30, 2000 at her home in Kingwood Township, NJ. Born in Messina, Italy on April 29, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Rocco and Maria D'Avenia. She worked as a seamstress in the New York City garment district for years. Interment in Saint Magdalen Cemetery, Flemington, NJ.
