Gilbert Franke, Sr.

Gilbert Franke, Sr., of East Amwell Township, NJ, died on Thursday, February 23, 1984 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Flemington.

Mr. Franke had resided for most of his life in Ringoes. He retired in 1979 from General Motors Corp. in Trenton where he was a tool and die maker.

He was a member of the Kirkpatrick Memorial Presbyterian Church of Ringoes; the United Auto Workers Local 731, Trenton; the Hunterdon County and New Jersey Horseshoe Pitchers Association; and the Somerset County Bowling League.

Surviving are his wife, Roberta Heady Franke; and three sons, Gilbert Jr., Glenn and Gerald, all of Ringoes.

Funeral services were held at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington. Burial was in Union Cemetery, Ringoes.
