Born in Ringoes, NJ on September 23, 1871, he was the son of the late Oliver Johnson and Sarah Yard.

Mr. Johnson was formerly employed by the Union Hotel here in town.

Interment in Amwell Ridge Cemetery, Ringoes, NJ.
