Born in Hamden, Hunterdon County, NJ on February 10, 1913, he was the son of Amy Leaver and George W. Stout.

He was employed as a poultry farmer.

He was survived by his wife, Irene (Sobocinski) Stout.

Interment was in Locust Grove Cemetery, Quakertown, NJ.
