George L. Carkhuff, 79, of Readington Township, NJ,, died March 14, 1993 at his home.
Born September 13, 1913 in North Branch, NJ, he was the son of Henry and Elizabeth (Kuhn) Carkhuff. He was survived by his wife, Helen (Van Fleet) Carkhuff.
Mr. Carkhuff was a self-employed service station operator.
He served in the US Army from October 1941 until August 1945, during World War II.
Interment was in Readington Reformed Church Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington.
