Gene R. Gagnon

Gene Roy Gagnon, age 64 years, passed away suddenly on Wednesday evening, November 5, 2025, in Alexandria Township, NJ. Born on February 27, 1961, in New Jersey, Gene was the son of the late Susanne and Joseph Gagnon.

Gene was known as a dedicated and true craftsman and mechanic, having proudly owned and operated A-1 Automotive & Marine Services, Milford, NJ for over 30 years. His exceptional ability to diagnose and solve mechanical problems without reliance on modern technology set him apart as a master of his trade, making him a steadfast resource for the community.

Gene was not only a skilled laborer but also a genuine individual who embodied loyalty. His friends and acquaintances often spoke of his readiness to lend a hand to anyone in need. His perfectionism and commitment to quality work ensured that he approached every task with intense dedication, leaving a lasting impression.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Gene had a passion for adventure and the thrill of speed. He found joy in boating on the Delaware River and indulged his love for fast vehicles, which included drag racing of all sorts, motorcycles, and high-performance bikes. This zest for life carried through his experiences, making his hobbies a vivid part of his identity.

He is survived by his beloved partner of 14 years, Deborah Ann Beer, of Asbury, NJ. His absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him. As a true original and "last of a dying breed", Gene Roy Gagnon's legacy of craftsmanship and devotion will endure.
