Born January 23, 1904 in Raritan Township, he was the son of Joseph and Mary Edna (Lane) Dilley. He was the owner of West Hunterdon Transit Bus Co.
Fred was survived by his wife, Jeanette (Pickacz) Dilley.
Funeral services were held at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington. Burial was in Cherryville Cemetery, Cherryville.
