Frederick E. Johnston, Jr., age 64 years, of East Windsor Township, NJ, died May 9, 1986 at Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township.

Born June 8, 1921 in Manchester, NH, he was the son of Frederick E. and Esther (Sanquist) Johnston, Sr. He was the owner of Allscope, Inc., Pittstown, NJ and Fred's Tree Farm, Hillsborough, NJ.

He was survived by his wife, Lois (McCann) Johnston.

Cremation was private and under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington.
