Fred O. Rynearson, Jr.

October 10, 1945 — March 4, 2023

Fred O. Rynearson Jr. of Flemington, NJ passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at age 77.

Fred was born on October 10, 1945 in Doylestown, PA to the late Fred O. Rynearson Sr. and Helen (Daly) Rynearson.

Surviving him are his two daughters, Lisa Glinane and Kelly Bauman; son-in-law, William Glinane; two grandchildren, Taylor and Ryan Glinane; brother, Barry Rynearson Sr.; nephew, Barry Rynearson Jr.; and niece, Michelle Jordan.

Fred grew up working on his family’s farm in Stockton, NJ, and attended Hunterdon Central Regional High School. After graduating in 1963, he went on to work at what was once Riegel Paper as a production and distribution supervisor for decades, and attended Rochester Institute of Technology.

When Fred wasn’t working, he was hunting, fishing, watching NASCAR and baseball (Go Yankees!), cheering on the Hunterdon Central football and wrestling teams, enjoying the company of family and friends, and spoiling his grandchildren.

He’ll be remembered as he always was: a kind yet headstrong man in a plaid shirt with a big cup of black coffee and an even bigger heart.

Arrangements will be private by his request under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main St., Flemington, NJ. In lieu of flowers, Fred’s family requests that any contributions be made to the Amwell Valley Fire Company, PO Box 76, Ringoes, NJ 08551 or the Amwell Valley Rescue Squad, PO Box 147, Ringoes, NJ 08551.
