Evelyn J. May

Evelyn J. May, age 63 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Wednesday,July 21, 2004 at her home.

Born in Trenton, NJ, January 16, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Heater Orashen. She had previously resided in Flemington, NJ, and Honolulu, HI, before moving to Raritan Township, NJ five years ago.

She was a 1959 graduate of Hunterdon Central High School, Flemington, NJ, and Elizabeth General Hospital School of Nursing, Elizabeth, NJ. She was a registered nurse, previously employed with Queens Hospital, Honolulu, HI, and the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Her husband, M. Douglas May, died in 2001. Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Christine and Jody Freelove, and Angela Brown, all of Everett, WA; a son, Thomas Howell, of St. Petersburg, FL; three grandchildren: Jacob, Nicholas, and Mariah Freelove; and many friends.

Graveside services and interment in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours. Please visit www.holcombefisher.com for further information.
