Born March 28, 1907 in Altamont, NY, she was the daughter of Charles and Lillian (Beebe) Vanderpool. Her husband, Leland Pettit, died the next day.
Funeral services for Esther and Leland took place in Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington. Interment was in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington.
