Born August 30, 1904 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of Clarence and Jessie (McFarlane) Gould. She was a teacher in Readington Township.
Mrs. Herder was predeceased by her husband, Chester, in 1977.
Funeral services were held in Three Bridges Reformed Church, Three Bridges, under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington. Interment was in Three Bridges Reformed Church Cemetery, Three Bridges.
