Elmer S. Hunt

Elmer S. Hunt, age 72 years, of Linvale Road, died Saturday, December 21, 1985 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Flemington.

Born in Ringoes, Mr. Hunt lived in Ewing Township for many years before returning to Ringoes four years ago.

A certified public accountant and a registered municipal accountant, he was employed by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs and was formerly a partner with Main Hurdman CPAs, Lawrenceville, and with J.S. Teunon, Trenton.

He was past president of the Mercer chapter of the New Jersey Society of CPAs and a member of the American Institute of CPAs. He was also a member of the United First Presbyterian Church of Amwell, Larisons Corner.

Surviving are his wife, Marjorie Danberry Hunt; two sons, Robert Hunt of Hopewell Township and Richard Hunt of East Amwell Township; a daughter, Peggy Stouppe of Bordentown; a stepson, James Stryker of Ringoes; seven grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home. Interment was in Amwell Ridge Cemetery, Larisons Corner.
