Eileen S. Wheeler

Eileen S. Wheeler, age 87, died Sunday, May 31, 2015 at the Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Township, NJ.

Born March 25, 1928, in East Newark, NJ, Eileen was the daughter of the late Harold and Eileen (Getty) Sawyer. She was raised in Orange, NJ, before moving to Hunterdon County more than twenty years ago.

A homemaker, Eileen raised four children and was described as one of the most charitable people you could know, often selflessly giving of herself to help someone else.

Predeceased by her parents, Eileen is survived by her three daughters, Veronica Dayton, Stephanie DeLoach and Adrian Prokofiew, her son, Jeffrey Wheeler, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Interment will be private under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822.
