Edward J. Hajduk, 69, of Stanton Road, Flemington, N.J., died Saturday at home following a lengthy illness. Born in Nanticoke, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Bogdan Hajduk.
He had lived in New Jersey for the past thirty years.
He was a 1941 graduate of Nanticoke High School.
He had been employed by the Diehl Corporation, and later as a carpenter in the construction industry.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Church, Nanticoke, and its Holy Name Society.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Josephine Maga, in 1990.
Surviving are sisters, Mrs. Lottie Meck and Mrs. Eleanor Hart, both of Nanticoke; Mrs. Mary Sypniewski, Pulaski, Va.; friend, Edith Porter; several nieces and nephews.
Interment was in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Nanticoke.
